Hi, I'm Katie.

I started as a Saturday girl in a Hairdressers in Durham UK when I was 14 years old, I then completed level 2 and 3 Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy at New College Durham in the late 90s. I worked as a Hairdresser and Beauty Therapist in the UK and Southern Spain and continued to do hair and beauty treatments on friends and colleagues while travelling the world. In 2019 I followed my heart to Basel , learning German and improving my skills at Zürich Hair & Beauty Academy and Schwarzkopf Zürich which included intensive training in Hairdressing, Balayage techniques, Lash lifts, and Brow Lamination. After three incredible years at Vivique Hair Lounge, I decided to embark on my own venture, so Hair and Beauty by KTK was born. I absolutely love what I do. I want to enhance the natural beauty of all of my clients with the goal of making them feel happy and confidant.
